In our Opal Pen we have an Opal White Eye male along with several Opal hens. We have several different patterned hens including Opal Silver Pied, Opal White Eye and Opal.
Due to the co-dominant nature of the white eye gene, many of the chicks from this pen will be white eyed as well. The white eye gene is interesting to work with as it can often take 2-3 years (or longer) for white eye train feathers to appear.
