Our flock of Olive Egg Layers was an initial cross of our Black Copper Marans and Blue/Black/Splash Ameraucana. After several years and selective mating we have grown a flock we are very proud of. To keep the integrity of the egg color we only keep hens and cross them back to either Ameraucana or Marans roosters.
For the last few breeding seasons we have kept them in our Ameraucana pen but for 2013 we’ve decided to move them to our pen of Black Copper Marans. We anticipate an even darker olive color out of these chicks.
Do you sell chicks?
Hi Heather,
We do sell chicks but only locally, I do not ship chicks. If you are local to Northeast Ohio, you can contact us at sales@loudenfarms.com for inquire on availability.

I am interested in your Olive egg layers, Black Copper Marans, and your Ameraucana pullets. I live in Alliance, Ohio. I’m not sure how far you are from me for possible pick up when available.
Thank You!
Staci
Hi Staci,
We are about 2 hours north of Alliance. I don’t have any pullets available but check back in the fall, we may have some then.
thanks
