We are very fortunate to have both a male and female (his mother) that carry this trait.  Both birds exhibit a progressively pied appearance that changes yearly.  The female is a granddaughter of the original Buford Bronze, making the male a great grandson. We have the mother and son in a breeding pen with a few other regular bronze females in an attempt to  replicate this trait they carry.  We are very proud of this pair and very excited to work this project.  We know it will be a long road ahead but we are eager to see what will be down it.
